With Judith Yates
PAINTING & SKETCHING
FULL BOARD HOLIDAY
Sat 14th - 21st Sept 2019
We are delighted that Judith Yates is back for her ever popular painting and sketching holiday. Using different mediums such as pencil, water colour and acrylics, Judith will help you to develop your talent in this beautiful setting in South West France.
Judith Yates hails from Coventry and has been a professional artist, illustrator and designer for well over 25 years, selling work both at home and abroad.
Judith graduated in Fine Art Painting, relocated to Brighton, and began selling her work through local and London galleries, also producing artwork for publishers and undertaking a variety of private commissions.
She moved to Coventry more than 20 years ago to work as an in-house designer for a giftware studio.
Having managed two design studios, she followed her dream and developed her own illustration business, working with a wide range of worldwide clients on a variety of products, including the areas of giftware, packaging, furnishing, publishing, and fabric design.
In recent years she has returned to her fine-art past, deriving inspiration from the familiar landscapes of her childhood.
She continues to produce work from her busy studio at home. She uses an array of techniques and mediums in order to recreate the sensual pleasures of texture and form and to capture the drama and magic of the landscape and the light and atmosphere of the coast.
