Le Manoir de Gurson is the ideal place to stay, and recharge your batteries with self-catering or Chambres d’hôtes to suit all needs. Families, couples, singles, children: everyone has a wonderful time here.

There are 98 acres to explore; the views are stunning and there  are woods, fishing lakes, a golf driving range (in its infancy), horses, swimming pool with Jacuzzi feature, walks, cycling, and games for children. 

Close to the Lac du Gurson, with its bars, restaurants, adventure playground, and mini golf, there are many other activities not too far away. 

We can organise a free wine tour at a local vineyard, which takes about two and a half hours to complete, including tasting.

Your accommodation is in the large Manoir, with views over the lakes and the ruins of the Chateau de Gurson.  There is a large fitted kitchen, lounge with wood-burner chimney, dining room, two halls, and large landing and 4 bedrooms )three are en suite, and one has a separate luxury bathroom (sleeps 8 plus extra beds if required)).  Cot/toddler bed available at no extra charge.  Baby sitting can be arranged.

This is the ideal base from which to explore the interesting and varied surroundings in South West France: located between Bergerac and Bordeaux, near St. Émilion, famous for its wines, the Dordogne river, and much more.
